Hands employed cleaning bilges, scrubbing and cleaning
Refitted ridge rails and wandering leads, filled up with fresh water

Friday 15th Jan 1915
5.30 Cast off from ship and entered lock
5.50 Proceeded to A  7.20 stopped

1.35 Joined up battery and proceeded to Hawke Roads
2.20 Stopped and secured to buoy
2.25 Started charge 400 amps on each
  4.20 stopped charge

Saturday 16th Jan 1915 at River Humber
7.15 Slipped proceeded to B  7.45 Stopped
Hands employed drying out bilges
12.5 Joined up battery and proceeded to close Spurn Light vessel   12.20 Stopped
2.5 Joined up battery proceeded to Hawke Roads  2.48 stopped and secured to buoy
4.0 started charge 400 amps on each   5.45 stopped charge

Sunday 17 Jan 1915 at River Humber

Monday 18th Jan 1915
8.15 started charge from ship 150 amps on each
Hands employed getting stores into boat
12.20 Broke charge
1.30 Cast off and proceeded alongside Jola. Took in 750 gals of petrol
2.25 Cast off proceeded alongside Forth

Tuesday 19th Jan 1915 From River Humber to River Tyne At Sea
4.10 Cast off and entered lock    4.30 Proceeded out of harbour speed 10 knots.
6.40 Spurn light abeam    10.30 Flamborough Head abeam
11.50 Scarborough Rock abeam    1.0 Great Whitby abeam
3.40 Haigh lt abeam    5.40 Butar lt abeam
6.5 Co. as req for entering harbour    6.30 stopped and secured to ship.

Wedneday 20th Jan 1915 River Tyne to Leith
3.30 Broke charge
4.15 Cast off from Bonaventure proceeded out of harbour
4.40 Course N 10 E 11 knots
8.45 Longton light abeam    St Abbs Head abeam
1.5 Bass Rock abeam    1.30 Fidra Island light abeam
3.0 stopped and entered Leith docks    3.15 Secured alongside jetty
4.45 Cast off and entered basin    5.0 Secured alongside Vulcan

Thursday 21st Jan Leith Docks
8.15 started charge from ship 200 amps on each
Hands employed cleaning bilges, boat and returning stores
11.0 Broke Charge

Friday 22nd Jan
Hands employed scrubbing deck and assisting E.R staff as required.
Topped up torpedoes    Completed to 8 days provisions

Saturday 23 rd Jan
9.30 started charge from ship 200 amps on each
Hands employed cleaning boat
12.30 Broke charge
Gave leave to the watch to 9.15 p.m.

Sunday 24th Jan
9.20 Cast off and entered lock    9.40 Proceeded to Inchkeith
10.15 Stopped secured to buoy
12.0 Slipped proceeded N67 E
1.30 Stopped off Eliness and dived. Exercise depth keeping
1.57 Surface    2.15 laid to in 5 ½ fathoms
4.15 Weighed and proceeded to Inch Keith
5.40 Stopped and secured to buoy
5.45 Started charge 400 amps on each    7.0 Reduced to 200 amps
7.45 Stopped charge

Monday 25th Jan at Firth of Forth
6.10 Slipped and proceeded s 87 E
7.40 Stopped came to off Fidra Island in 5 fathoms
8.45 Weighed and proceeded N 88 N
9.0 InchKeith abeam    Stopped and entered Leith Docks
10.45 Secured alongside trot
10.50 Started charge 400 amps on each    11.40 Stopped charge
Received 1540 gals of petrol from tanker. Filled up with fresh water

Tuesday 26th January at Firth of Forth
5.30 Cast off from trot.    6.0 Proceeded out of harbour
6.15 Course N 70 E    8.5 stopped and came to off Eliness
9.12 Weighed and dived. Exercise 2nd in command trimming and depth keeping
9.45 Surface. Group down for patrolling
Hands employed drying out bilges.
4.30 Joined up battery and proceeded S 75 W
5.50 Stopped secured to buoy
6.0 started charge 400 amps on each    8.15 Reduced to 200 amps.
9.0 Stopped charge. Ran air compressor 1 ½ hours on groups.
